When we were in California last, my sister Carol spent a lot of time with Ameya. One of the stops they made was to the local bicycle shop to test out bikes. Ameya had a great time and couldn't stop talking about a bike. When it got closer to her birthday, Carol found a princess bike with a helmet, pads, backpack and water bottle for Ameya. She ordered it on-line and it arrived in a local store here the day before her birthday.
When asked what Ameya wanted for her birthday, she told me she hoped she would get a bike. I was so excited to know that one would be arriving for her.
The first picture is when we asked her to close her eyes as Scott brought the bike in from the garage.
This second picture is when she opened her eyes and saw her new bike for the first time and the below picture is her first ride. Since we have wood floors, she took her first test ride in the living room.
