A Walk In The Park

Our Ward had a picnic a few weeks back. It was on a Saturday where our day was full of events and activities but we were able to come for about 1 hour. Ameya was so excited to go on a picnic in the Park.

As you can see from the pictures, it was a beautiful summer day in Colorado. We ate some barbecue along with lots of yummy pot-luck dishes and then off to a walk with Ava.

Ava is standing by her-self but no big steps yet. She is still crawling around but if she can climb up to standing on something and then walk along it, she does.

She also loves for us to hold her hands as she walks along and provides lots of cute squealing noises.

Sleeping Cuddles

One of my favorite things with babies is when they cuddle into your neck.
It really has to be one of those sweet moments in life.

Here is Ava falling asleep in Scott's arms.

I think about how trusting they are of us as their parents.
What an honor it is to have children in your home and get to experiences these small joys

4th Of July

I know, I'm a bit behind in posting our recent events but I still wanted to get them on the blog.

We went to the Broadmoor Hotel to watch Fireworks. The hotel always does a great job and this year was not a disappointment. Ava was awake for the first few minutes that we got there but then fell asleep.

We broke out the picnic blanket, got some fun snacks including ice cream and then waited for the fireworks.

We all had a great time including Scott teasing Ameya.

Nutella

Aren't there just some things in Life that bring you so much bliss? Nutella does that for me. I love it and having a spoonful can make me feel so good. The other day Ameya and I both had a our spoons in our mouth and were following Scott around going MMMMMMMMMMM.....MMMMMMMMMMM.
I think it might be a girl thing but Nutella can make my day.

Delicious Nutella Fact of the Month from Nutellausa.com
The amount of Nutella produced in one year worldwide is equal to the weight of approximately 109 Space Shuttles

Room With A View

You know you've been on a conference call too long when you start seeing this outside your office door.

One by one, the gang started showing up outside my door. I was on a call this evening and Scott, Ameya and Ava were all playing in Ameya's room next door. They kept checking on me to see if I was done.

During the call, I could hear all kinds of noise going on and when I got off, this was what I found. Ava with a bucket on her head. Leave it to Scott to come up with some crazy new play/entertainment idea. Ava was loving it and Scott and Ameya thought it was very funny.

Here are a few more pictures from the Big Graduation.
We were lucky enough to find some shade under the Palm trees near the field.

Family and friends were invited to go down to the field after the graduation ceremonies.
