Gordon B. Hinckley Passes away at 97

The beloved Prophet of our Church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints passed away this past Sunday.

He has been the Prophet of the Church for over 12 years and will be greatly missed. He was a great leader and example to the members and the world on Christlike love and service to others. It is nice to know though, that he is back home with his Father in Heaven as well as his beloved wife who passed a few years ago.

When I would watch him in our church conferences or hear his voice, he made me smile and want to be a better person.
