Ava started her day with lots of playing. It was a beautiful Colorado summer day, so Ava, Ameya and Scott went to the park for playing and a bike ride. And Scott took Ameya's training wheels off and I'm told Ameya is a pro-rider on 2 wheels.
In this picture, Ava came to visit me in my office and asked for her 'gamps' as she calls them, which are Stamps. You can just make out the pink stamps on her hands and feet. Ever since Ava took a gym class at the Little Gym, she wants stamps put on her hands, feet and tummy. That is what the kids get at the end of each class. Ava really likes her gamps.
After all the playing at the park, an afternoon nap proceeded followed by an early dinner before the party started.
Ava got her cake and we did the standard 'Happy Birthday' song as fast as possible, while Ava tried to touch the flame from her candle.
Here she is opening her gifts, including a fun computer book reader from Grandma and Grandpa in California and a Lil' Quad electric car from her Grandpa Phil. We think Ava had a good day and will enjoying playing with all her new toys.
Now I just need to get Scott to take her to the Dr. for her 2 year old shots.
